Looking for a little bronze colored birdcage with a little red polymer clay bird? I have one!
The little birdcage opens at the bottom and you can
set birdie free for awhile. There is a bead
at the top of the cage that slides up the cord and
loosens the tension to let the cage open.
The top of the cage fits into a groove on the bottom,
then all is tightened up a little when the bead is pushed against the top of the cage.
The cage is about 1 5/8 inches long and 1 inches wide at the base. 1 3/4 inches long from the bead at the top to the bead beneath the cage.
All has a matte finish, but the clay has a little sparkle to it. It's a little crooked, a little funky, so I like to call it charming.
The ribbon shown looks really pretty but I'm not sure how much wear and tear it would take if this were worn as a pendant. It may be better suited if this is just be be used as an ornament. I have black cord I can include, then you can decide which you like.
