Have you guys opened up RME account yet?

As an indie business owner, I think this is a great alternative idea to receive and send your payment without any transaction fee.

RME is a short form of “Revolution Money Exchange” which allows you to instantly send and receive money online with other account holders for free. You can also transfer money in and out with no charge at all.

Plus, if you sign up for a MoneyExchange account before May 15, 2008, you’ll receive $25 to your account right away. Isn’t that a good deal or what?!

I was skeptical and didn’t want to have another account of some sort somewhere, but you get $25 with no transaction fee whatsoever and no fee to open it up, so I figured ‘why not.’ I see more and more people have accounts at RME anyway, so I think it was a right decision.

I put a link here for you, so you can avoid any hassle to open up an account.

You can also visit www.RevolutionMoneyExchange.com to learn more about it.

Hope this helps!

I am going to hold off until I get more feedback from people who are using this service. Several of my Etsy friends signed up for this and are now wishing that they didn't. They said they are having nothing but major problems. Perhaps it is too new a service and just needs to work the bugs out? Anyway, like I said, I am going to continue using PayPal. I do not mind paying fees for peace of mind.

I checked with etsians regarding RME for several times at least. The people I talked to praised RME, and I haven't had any problem yet. Let us know what kind of problems they're having. Share, share! Thanks.

The problems that they have told me they are having is login problems and getting locked out of their RME accounts for hours at a time. Of those I know that have joined they will no longer use the service as they don't feel comfortable with it, so I don't know. Perhaps as I said it is new and needs to have the bugs worked out?

I guess we have to use the new system in caution. My main service is paypal anyway, and RME is for other sellers and some USA customers who have RME accounts. The worst case, I've got free $25 in my bank. lol.

I too use PayPal for most all transactions. I have used it for years for both buying and selling. I agree with you, as with all new online services use with caution, but the extra $25 in your account is nice to have. :)
