Can't upload photo to blog

Hello Andrea, I just tried uploading myself and had no issues. It is definitely strange that you're seeing this on both your work and home computer and I'm not quite sure what may be causing this. Can you contact Ning's technical support here:

... and mention what you said here? Also be sure to state the browsers you've used as well as the fact you've tried both PCs and Macs. Sorry for the inconvenience!

oooh! I figured it out. I still can't upload (click the add button) but if I just copy and paste, voila! so I will just do that. can't believe it took that long to occur to me...

Hi Andrea, I'm glad to hear you found a workaround! Thanks for discovering that -- I will definitely keep this in mind just in case other people have similar issues!

i also can't seem to figure out how to add photos to my blog entry. i don't even see it as an option anywhere! is that possible?

I seem to be experiencing some difficulty too uploading to my blog. I'm on a PC and I'm getting a pop-up asking to save a .txt file (????).

I had the same problem yesterday. It wouldn't upload a photo no matter how much I tried. Looks to be okay today though :-)

Hi Fabletop, was it the exact same error, i.e. you saw a save a .txt pop-up?

Either way, if you see this behavior again please submit an error report to Ning's help desk immediately, as these seem to be transient and it'd be great to catch them as they are happening! Thanks!

So I was able to upload from my home computer, which is a Mac, I don't know if my settings has anything to do with it.

Sorry to hear you're still having the same issue. I'd like you to submit a help ticket to Ning as this is definitely something they can help you better with:

Be sure to mention everything you've stated here (the problem, the browser and that you're on a PC). I have a suspicion there's something funky going on between your browser and Ning; please keep me posted! (PS -- it may take a few days for them to respond)

In the meantime, you can try installing Firefox; it has historically had better results than IE:
