Are you a jeans and tshirts kinda person? sweats? skirt and blouse? jacket and tie?
I was just thinking the other day how I would like to just wear jeans and tshirts all the time and was wondering what other people are most comfortable in. Do artists/ creative types tend to be inclined to similar styles of dress?
So, me: jeans, tshirt, hoodie and a pair of high top converse sneakers.
i just went to las vegas last week, and i was overwhelmed by so many affliction and ed hardy shirts people were wearing. it pretty much made me sick to my stomach. i'm a big fan of both, but "wow" it was ridiculous.
I wear a lot of flip flops and sandals and in fall I wear a lot of boots. Sneakers when I go for walks or go somewhere where i need to walk a lot.
I like to wear vintage and bohemian clothes and my "painters clothes" which is a tank top/tee and pair of cargos or ratty jeans.
I'm a jeans and t-shirt kinda gal.
I love the American Apparel Tri-Blend shirts, and I practically live in them.
Most days I just wear my grungy clothes, because I work from home and painting gets pretty messy.
So dressing up for me is really just going out in something that doesn't have paint, or glue, on it :)
Fun thread! In Florida, so shorts/jeans, tshirt and flipflops. Before kids I had to dress up for office job and I am NOT missing those days in the least since I get to work from home :)
I LOVE skirts. I would wear them all day everyday if weather and my activities were not factors. But I ride my bike a lot and now its winter and i need to wear more pants. Also I'm a theatre student so i need to wear dance clothes and clothes i can be on the floor with. Sometimes i'll wear skirts for so long, that when i finally wear a pair of pants... it's weird and i feel trapped. ha ha. I love tank tops too. I guess i'm meant for warm weather. Which is why i live in Southern CA.
Normally, I wear a comfortable pair of jeans (or just shorts/sweatpants/pajama pants if I'm just bumming around my apartment), a t-shirt of some kind (usually a relatively loose one), and flip-flops... although I have taken to wearing slip-on sneaker/flat... things. Mostly because I have no idea where my flip-flops went... this place is so tiny, but I keep losing stuff in it. 9.9 A jacket as I need it, in whatever weight... I have too many at this point, especially considering I'm down in Florida. x'D Also, I like turtlenecks. They're comfy and they look good on me. :)
Before I became an expectant mama, I wore all kinds of fun things. I do a lot of dresses/tights/boots combos with sweaters, scarves or wraps for fall/winter/early spring (I live in New England). In the summer I am bummed by the fact that I don't get to wear many layers, since I overheat so easily. Then I am all about sandals with the dresses/skirts! Mostly with flip-flop styling, but in leather or suede. I don't know if maybe I got used to wearing skirts and dresses because of going to private school for many years in my youth-- in fact, I can remember in 5th grade being invited to a birthday party and not having any jeans! For now I'm pretty much relegated to my paltry collection of maternity clothing (I have just 1.5 months left, so I barely fit into anything). I can't wait to have a waist again! :)

I like to dress up. I wear skirts & dresses & hate pants (only wear them when it's cold)
I'm a girly girl. I do the whole hair, makeup, shoes & jewelry thing. It's fun. It started when I got my current job ten years ago and we have to dress every day - no casual. So I sort of took it and ran with it. LOL
